Homestay and Guardianship
A student arriving in Australia need not be concerned about becoming lost. Knowing where to go and how to get there is not a problem. A representative of Macquarie Grammar School though the appointed homestay provider will personally meet the student at the airport and will provide transport to the student’s new accommodation. Macquarie Grammar School connects students to its network of carefully selected host families.
Macquarie Grammar School connects students below 18 years of age with approved guardians who would contact the students on a regular basis and acts the role of guardians and takes responsibly of student welfare.
Student Welfare
The staff at Macquarie Grammar School has a wealth of experience to call upon in providing students with advice in various aspects of student life in Sydney such as homesickness, stress or study problems. We provide personalised guidance on career paths as well as constructive feedback.
Students can participate in our regular social events and activities, such as excursions to Taroonga Zoo, the Sydney Art Gallery, the Opera House tour, the Harbour Bridge fun climb, Royal Botanic Garden’s exploration walk, etc. Students can also have a good time at Sydney’s famous beaches, visit the Sydney Aquarium, ride the historic ferries or take a break from the city and explore New South Wales.
