Why Macquarie Grammar?

Why Macquarie Grammar?

The Macquarie Grammar School is registered as a learning provider by the NSW Education Standards Authority under the Education Act 1990 and is approved to deliver the Years 7 to 12 curriculum. The school’s teaching staff are Accredited using the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers which drives improvements in student achievement. We are aligned with the NSW Government and implement the approved curriculum.

We specialise in preparing International Students for the Record of Achievement, ELICOS courses, and Higher School Certificate, ensuring student success in post school pathways.

Founded in 2004, the School’s mission is to provide an academic-based curriculum and prepare students for the Higher School Certificate (HSC), and beyond. We value every student and have a respect for cultural diversity and inclusiveness. Teaching and learning takes place in a nurturing, student-centred, caring, and safe environment, where every effort is made to cultivate the individual’s potential.

We recommend students undertake the Higher School Certificate (HSC) with us and be awarded an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank to gain entry into university as this rank has international portability and ensures continuity in learning. Students from Macquarie Grammar School traditionally transition into Higher Education at one of Sydney’s universities, however staff can guide students towards other study and work options. Your next step starts here at Macquarie.
